Your Zoftware User Dashboard is the control room for everything you do on the platform — from requesting software recommendations to tracking RFPs, saving shortlists, and continuing previous conversations.

This article guides you through finding the dashboard, explaining the meaning of each section, and demonstrates how to utilize every feature shown in the latest screenshots.

1) How to Access the User Dashboard

Step-by-step navigation

  1. Log in to your Zoftware account

  2. Click your profile menu (top area where your name appears)

  3. Select User Dashboard

Once inside, you’ll land on the dashboard area where your left-side navigation contains all available modules (Resources, RFP History, My Favorites, Recent Chats).

2) Resources (Your Action Center)

The Resources section is designed for buyers who want to go beyond browsing and get direct support from Zoftware.

Inside Resources, you’ll see these options:

✅ 2.1 White Paper Requests

This area tracks your white paper activity.

What you’ll see:

  • A page titled “White Paper Requests”

  • If you haven’t requested any white papers yet, it shows:
    “No white papers requested yet.”

  • A CTA button: “Request a call for Whitepaper”

What to do here:

  • Use this when you want industry insights or premium information relevant to your software category.

  • Click Request a call for Whitepaper to begin.

✅ 2.2 Get Consultation (AI Consultant)

Zoftware also offers a fast support entry point through an AI-powered consultation flow.

What you’ll see:

  • A section titled “Talk to our AI Consultant”

  • You’ll be prompted to enter your phone number

  • A Submit button

What to do here:

Use this when you want quick help like:

  • narrowing down your options

  • understanding software pricing / deployment

  • selecting the right tools before submitting an RFP

✅ 2.3 Chat Support (Zain Bot)

Zoftware provides real-time assistant support through its bot.

What you’ll see:

A banner message like:
“Need help? Chat with Zain Bot for instant assistance.”
and a Chat Now button.

What to do here:

Click Chat Now whenever you need:

  • quick guidance on software selection

  • help navigating the platform

  • clarification about RFPs, shortlisting, comparisons, etc.

✅ 2.4 Custom Request

If your need doesn’t fit predefined flows, Zoftware lets you submit a custom requirement.

What you’ll see:

A form titled “Submit Your Custom Request” with fields:

  • What problem are you looking to solve?

  • What is your budget or price range? (e.g. $500 - $1000)

  • Additional Notes (Optional)
    and a button: Submit Request

What to do here:

Use this when:

  • your requirement is unique

  • you want the team to manually recommend options

  • you want help sourcing niche or non-standard software

3) RFP History (Track All RFPs You’ve Submitted)

This is one of the most important additions to the dashboard.

What it does:

RFP History lets you track and manage all your RFP requests, including:

  • RFP category

  • status

  • created date

  • number of recommended products

  • and the results page

✅ What you’ll see inside RFP History

A page titled: RFP History
With tabs:

  • All

  • In Progress

  • Completed

Each RFP entry shows:

  • Title (example: Accounting - RFP Request)

  • Status badge (example: Completed)

  • Category tag (example: Accounting)

  • Tool type (example: New Tool)

  • Team size (example: More than 200)

  • Budget (example: Less than $5K)

  • Created Date

  • A highlight like: “3 Products Recommended”

  • A button: View Results

✅ How to use RFP History

Step-by-step:

  1. Click RFP History in the left menu

  2. Use the tabs:

    • All → see everything

    • In Progress → RFPs still being processed

    • Completed → ready-to-view recommendations

  3. Click View Results to open your recommendations list again

This is useful because it saves you from having to redo the entire RFP process every time.

4) My Favorites (Your Shortlist Library)

My Favorites is where you can store products you liked during exploration, comparisons, or RFP recommendations.

What you’ll see:

  • A title: My Favorites

  • A count of saved products (example: 3 products marked as favorite)

  • Cards showing software like:

    • Stripe

    • Zoho Books

    • TeleCRM

Each card includes:

  • rating (ex: 4.4)

  • reviews count

  • short product description

  • View Details → link

✅ How to use My Favorites

Step-by-step:

  1. Click My Favorites from the left menu

  2. Review all saved products in one place

  3. Click View Details to return to the product page and evaluate further

This helps you build a shortlist over time instead of deciding in one sitting.

5) Recent Chats (Continue Past Conversations)

If you’ve previously chatted with Zoftware (AI or the platform), Recent Chats lets you reopen those conversations.

What you’ll see:

  • A page titled Recent Chats

  • Conversation count (example: 1 conversations)

  • A chat item like:
“Need software to track customers and sales”
    with a timestamp below it

✅ How to use Recent Chats

Step-by-step:

  1. Click Recent Chats in the left menu

  2. Select any chat to reopen it

  3. Continue from where you left off instead of restarting the discussion

This is especially useful when:

  • You’re exploring software over multiple days

  • Multiple stakeholders are involved

  • You want to revisit earlier recommendations

6) Quick Mental Model: What Each Section Is For

Resources → Request help (whitepapers, AI consultation, custom needs)
RFP History → Track and reopen RFP recommendations
My Favorites → Save shortlisted products
Recent Chats → Continue previous conversations
